Nausheen Hossain

Founder

Hi! I'm Nausheen Hossain, a student at Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas and an active member in my community! Over the last few years, I have been a member and elected official of the Austin Youth Council where I learned the importance of community engagement. Working on projects such as the Austin Youth Career Festival, city-wide "Be Kind Day," the "Youth Your Voice" voter resources platform, I have seen how impactful it is to bring people together for collaboration. When I started attending Lake Travis High School, I created an Asian Culture Appreciation(ACA) Club geared toward sharing Asian culture with others in forms of food, dance, films, etc. Seeing the success in this initiative as the club amassed 100+ members in the first month, I thought that this idea could be brought to my technological interests.

I have always been an avid STEM student. From self-learning coding languages, to being a part of rocketry and robotics teams, I love the innovative qualities of projects in technology. Technology can transform lives and education about technology could be a gateway to new opportunities for many. When visiting my family in Bangladesh, I have seen many people with little to no access to educational resources. My main goal in making the LTI Technology Exchange organization and platform has been to make resources more accessible and easy to find for people all over the world. Along with this, when users learn from one another, they are able to come up with new and more creative ideas which is how we can foster technological innovation.

Zain Hossain

Founder

Hi! I’m Zain Hossain, a student at Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas, with a deep passion for robotics, coding, and technology for social good. Over the past several years, I have devoted much of my time to building and leading innovative STEM projects — from competing in and mentoring robotics teams, to working on advanced research in assistive technology and brain-computer interfaces. Developed a controller-free VR headset with BCI and EMG hand tracking, engineered the hardware, firmware, and software, and launched www.xenodiver.com.

My interest in technology started early. During middle school, I built an interactive video game called Summoned, which combined storytelling with creative coding and taught me how powerful technology can be as a tool for learning and imagination. In high school, I also created a general driver system that allowed me to integrate different hardware components into robotics projects — a foundation that now supports my larger work in brain-computer interfaces and VR.

Beyond my personal projects, I believe strongly in collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Through my involvement in initiatives such as the Lake Travis International Technology Exchange (LTITE), I have worked with students around the globe to exchange ideas and build technology together. As Co-Founder of LTI Technology Exchange, I hope to help create a platform where students from every background can access resources, learn from each other, and apply their creativity to solve real-world challenges
